DRV8434SEVM: Open load detection not working

Hello,

When enabling the Open Load detection through the software (version 0.1.12) (either with the register map EN_OL = 1b or with the switch), it deactivate itself after 1 second.

If i enable it after i start input-based step (with no load), nothing happen : there is no open load detection.

I don't understand what i'am missing.

Can you please tell me the GUI version you are using? When you say it "deactivates", the bit automatically goes back to "0" state after 1 second?

If you can grab some screen captures, that would be helpful.

GUI version is DRV8434S 0.1.12.

Yeah exactly the bit go back to"0" state after 1 second.

Here a capture on the register map when is set it to state "1" immediately (1-2seconds) after i press "write register" it go back to state "0".

We duplicated the issue and understood the root cause. Do you have MSP-FET tool to update the firmware?
