I'm working on a design involving a sensorless BLDC motor which needs to be driven very efficiently and reliably. The new MCF8316A looks like exactly what I need. Is there any information about when or if it will be widely available? I have already ordered the dev kit and 3 preproduction samples - I'd just like a timeline and some confidence that the part will be available for production.
