DRV2605LEVM-MD: Help with I2C programming or connecting to arduino

Part Number: DRV2605LEVM-MD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV2605L

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with DRV2605LEVM-MD. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I have a team of undergraduate biomedical engineers hoping to use the DRV2605LEVM-MD to program 8 motors to activate at full strength in a custom sequence, with control over the delay and overlap when a given set of motors is active. After using the HCC, it doesn't seem that this level of functionality/control is possible directly with the Effect Sequence Playback to RTP. Do you know if it is possible through I2C or Arduino? Would you be willing to send some resources to us started on how to program the DRV2605LEVM-MD through those methods?

I was wondering if there were resources for getting started with this. For example, How to wire an external controller (Arduino) to the DRV2605LEVM-DM. I am not sure which port/pin locations are appropriate connections for SDA/SCL. Also are there any example lines of code that would illustrate the communication protocol from Arduino?

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent
