Hi,

We are trying to flash the DRV325x_EVM_Basic_Trap_Comm code in the EVM using CCS v8.

Initially it was showing

Product"C2000ware_software_package v2.1.0.00 is not currently installed"

We tried downloading c2000Ware_02_01_00_00 and installing.

The following warning is coming and build is getting stopped.

Kindly suggest for this issue.

Hi Hima,

You may need a more updated version of CCS (v9) to run the code. Looks like the second directory has a "/.tirex" instead of "/tirex" so it may not pull the right metadata from the TI resource explorer. I'll let Adam who is supporting this thread to comment.

Hi Hima,

I would recommend and install the latest version of C2000Ware. The error your seeing is related to the metadata for the package which is needed if you intend to use the TIREX. You can therefore ignore it the error unless you intended to view and use the C2000Ware in the TI Resource Explorer within CCS.

Thanks,I was able to flash with latest versions of ccs and c2000ware.

I am trying to flash DRV325x_EVM_Basic_Trap_Comm into the EVM.But it flashing only in RAM.I could not find any CPU_FLASH folder in the files.

Kindly guide me in this as well.

Hima,

Can you right-click on the project and select properties. At the top of the window, can you go to Configuration and see if there is a FLASH option available. If so, go ahead and select it and rebuild the project in order to generate a flash object.

Can you confirm if the referenced source file is present in the project explorer.

Can you provide the name of the software product you acquired this project through.

I checked in the project explorer,this source file is missing.

This project we got as part of DRV325x-Q1 EVM testing from TI,the project name is DRV325x_EVM_Basic_Trap_Comm

Hi Hima,

I deleted the replies that contained the zip folders of the code as the project needs credentials for sharing and it not open for public use. BLDC team is working internally to determine the issue of flashing the code into CCS.
