DRV8243-Q1: DRV8243 not working in power on state

Hello, Reinhard：

Pin 1 = "0" sets 8V/us slew rate; it should be Ok.

Pin 27 = "0" sets PH/EN mode, it should be Ok.

Pin 2 = "0" sets fault pin as retry mode, it should be good.

Pin 28 = "0" disable the output current regulation. What is the input voltage and the output resistance during the test?

I have allready sent in a mail the information to Don with the image of the chip and my order 1 day ago.  

Dear Wang,  I have allready sent you the answer yesterday regarding pin 28.  We use 28V battery and need to have the power consumption of the DRV8243 in waiting state at max. 1mA with all pins attached.when there is NO activity from my program to activate the motor.

I still have NO idea, why the motor does not work at all when I send the signals.  Out 1 and 2 remain always on 0.34V

Normal operating current on my application is about 2-3A for about 18sec and then shortly max 7A for 1 sec.  Then my software switches the controller and motor off back to waiting state.

I spoke with Don and he has no record of the image of the top side of the chip or an image of the label on the packaging the chip came in.  I am trying to determine if you somehow received a "S" version of the device which would mean you need SPI control to operate and could explain why you are not getting an output.

Let me jump in this loop to support DRV8243-Q1.

Based on assumption of H-variant, could you check whether MCU provides nSLEEP pulse after power ramp? DRV8243H-Q1 need to have 20-40us nSLEEP pulse to escape from SLEEP state. If you just nSLEEP toggle low to high, DRV8243H-Q1 stays SLEEP State. Need to provide exact 20us-40us pulse, not longer or shorter.

I have sent you an email, that unfortunately I have the SOFTWARE version of the chip soldered on my board with the hardware version of the chip made on the board. 

Do you see ANY possibility that I could bring the Software chip to a hardware chip version ?   or only by connecting pin 1,2,27,28  to get them programmed ?
