Hi Team,

Our customer is looking for BLDC controllers for permanent magnet motor. According to our customer,

The back EMF of the motors range from 100-400V..but for now

If we can test controllers that can handle up to 150-160 Volts of back emf ..that would suffice…. The motor range from 8Nm to over 100Nm

Currently, we have a few BLDC motor drivers on stock, is the DRV8312, DRV8313 and DRV10982-Q1 suitable for these motors?

    Hi Danilo,

    Unfortunately our BLDC motor driver controllers can handle up to 100-V abs max of BEMF from the motor. DRV8300 can handle up to 125V abs max, but this may be too low your application. 

    You may need to look for a IGBT driver rather than a BLDC driver to handle over 100V of BEMF.
