Hi,

Our customer are using DRV8426E.

The Recommended Operating Conditions in the DRV8426 datasheet states that VREF (min) is 0.05V.

What happens when VREF is used below 0.05V?

Hello, Nishie-san:

When VREF is used below 0.05V, the output current Itrip setting may not follow the Itrip vs VREF equation. The output current could be zero if VREF is too small.

Nishie-san,

I don't see the output current can go negative. BTW, in general, the output is a load, not a voltage or current source.
