Hi Team,

We have designed and developed our driver by using DRV10970 IC and also ship to customer. now customer want more driver with that IC , this IC is not avaialble.

please provide alternate for this IC or is there any source from where we can get this IC.

Hello Sayali,

Thank you for posting to the MD forum. Unfortunately I am not aware of any source that has this device available at the moment and I am not sure when stock is expected for this device.

Would you be able to provide some more information on the requirements for the applciation such as voltage, current, type of control (sinusoidal or trapezoidal control), sensored or sensorless?

voltage - 5 to 30V

current - 2A

type of control - trapezoidal

sensored

we need IC with integrated mosfet and independent of software. similar to DRV10970 IC.

Hello Sayali,

Thanks for the info. I believe that the MCT8316Z will be a good fit for your application.

Some features include:

40V max

8A peak current

Trapezoidal control

Sensored control

and is also 1xPWM like the DRV10970

This is a new device, we do have an evaluation module available here: https://www.ti.com/tool/MCT8316ZTEVM

Please ensure to look at the "Z" version of the device as the "A" variant is for sensorless applications.
