DRV8305-Q1: DRV8305NQPHPRQ1 DRV3245AQPHPRQ1

Part Number: DRV8305-Q1

Are DRV8305NQPHPRQ1 and DRV3245AQPHPRQ1 pin compatible ?

If you have difference list between these 2item,please send it to us.

Our customer can't get DRV8305NQPHPRQ1.

    Hi Kura-san, 

    For these two devices, I do not believe that they're pin-to-pin compatible. 

    DRV8305-Q1 is an automotive gate-driver device, whereas DRV3245-Q1 is a gate driver device meant for functional safety applications and requires a TI SafetyNDA signed by customer just to get access to the full datasheet and functional safety documentation.

    There are a lot more features and safety considerations built into this DRV3245-Q1 device so it's not a simple transition between the two devices in terms of system design. 

    I will reach out to our product marketing team again to see if there's any options available for helping with the DRV8305-Q1 supply situation

    Hi Kura-san, 

    Another question on this item - What is your current sample quantity need? 
    I recall application for this product in your case was Power Slide door? (Automotive) 

    I am awaiting a response from the product marketing team, but there's a likely possibility that we will need a customer order to be placed & then wait some long lead time

    Got alignment from the marketing team that the best action would be to place an order for the DRV8305NQPHPRQ1 device as needed, so that the quantity is forecasted and able to ship once available. 

    Will close the thread for now, but please feel free to follow up once the customer need quantity is identified
