Hi Team,

Could you please help our customer find the issue. 

I need help with BOOSTXL-DRV8320x, specifically the DRV8320S. I am interfacing it with the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad development kit.

When I apply 45V to the VM+. Once I add that voltage, I lose the MSP430 from my PC. When looking at the "Device Manager".

However, if I use 25V, I have no issue at all. Thank you for checking.

    Hi Jonathon,

    Does the 3.3V voltage increase when VM is increased to 45V? The LMR16006 onboard the EVM should remain at 3.3V output. I think if 3.3V is exceeded, some resistor dividers that identify the correct EVM may yield wrong voltages that will either misidentify or disconnect the right EVM, or may cause the MSP430F5529 to overvoltage over its 4.1V rating. 

    Can you also disconnect the GND and 3V3 jumpers from the MSP-EXP430F5529 as well to see if this improves anything?
