DRV8800: Increased Current Full Bridge Driver

Hey team,

I was wondering if we had a P2P compatible device with the DRV8800 full-bridge driver that could handle at least 3.5A? We're likely going to move to the new DRV8251A, but that depends on supply in 2022.

Cameron,

Is that a peak number or continuous RMS? Can also consider the DRV8876/8874 for lower Rdson options.

We have nothing pin-to-pin with DRV8800.

Hi Ryan,

They're expecting a peak current of around 2.8-2.9A. They're currently using a L298N H-Bridge and are seeing 2.8A. They haven't tested the DRV8800 yet and expect the resistive losses to be lower.
