Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with DRV8302. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I'm using the DRV8302DCAR to drive FETs in a motor controller. My motors require 5-10Amps, and the DRV8302 can only sink 2.3 Amps through the SL_x pins. Can I simply short those pins to ground and short the Low Side FET source pins to ground? The datasheet says the SL_x pins are used to measure the MOSFET VDS, but doesn't state if it absolutely needs the FETs to sink their current through those pins.
