Hi there,

The datasheet recommends using a PU to AVDD for SDO - is it okay to instead pullup the line to an always on 3V3 supply? Will this result in any damage to the IC when it is in sleep mode?

Same question applies to DRV8316R

Hi Daniel,

Where in the datasheet does it recommend to pullup SDO to AVDD when using it in open drain mode? I looked through the MCT8316Z datasheet and did not see that anywhere; only an external pullup is required. You can use any 3V3 supply for the pullup.
