Hi Team,

There is a good new that Customer is searching TI solution

The customer originally used the DRV8801, but the specification changed to a working voltage of 7~18V. Is DRV8872-Q1 a suitable choice for this project?

And the maximum motor current is 550mA, so the Motor Driver only needs to be >1A or more

1.Please suggest a best solution

2.Please provide comparison table and I will propose to customer ,THX

Thank you for your question. Does customer need automotive grade(Q1) device? If not, we can propose non-Q1.

Hi,

If less than ~2A and automotive grade, DRV8872-Q1 or DRV8873-Q1 is good choice. DRV8873-Q1 does not need current sense resistor externally so customer may have benefit.
