DRV8718-Q1: SHx 12V voltage

Part Number: DRV8718-Q1

Dear expert,

For DRV8718 full bridge application, when all 4 MOSFET are OFF, there is 12V measured from both side of motor. (SH1 vs. GND 12V, SH2 vs. GND 12V)

As a result, motor is braked. (Motor controlled door can not be moved by hand.)

Then customer add 10K resistor between SH1 to GND, another 10K resistor between SH2 to GND. 12V is gone. And moto controlled door can be moved by hand.

Is it normal?

Is it due to ISHx, (Switch-node sense leakage current)?

Another question is can we do NOT trigger "brake" during OVP?

Thanks
