DRV8332: Regarding heatsink

Hi support team.

My customer asked me regarding heatsink for DRV8332.

It is a condition that a heat sink is used for Rθja in the thermal information.
Could you provide me the following information about the detail of heatsink?

・ Heat sink size
・ Material
・ If possible, the model number of the heat sink
・ Is TIM silicon grease? Or is it a sheet?

I found this e2e post for a very similar device w/ same IC pkg options (DRV8412, 4 half-bridge channels instead of 3 in DRV8312)

hopefully the answer in that thread will help steer you in the right direction towards finding a compatible top-mounted heatsink for DRV8332 variant

Generally we don't speak too much on system-level physical peripherals like heatsinks, since our modern DRV IC strategy aims to address thermal concerns with the typical IC bot-side exposed thermal pad (often referred to as a 'PowerPad' : https://www.ti.com/lit/slma004

a relevant example of this PowerPad would be the DRV8312 variant that has a bot-side heatsink in 44-DDW package
This DRV8332 top-side exposed thermal pad offering is a bit of an exception to that trend, and we unfortunately don't have too much info on the expected heatsink implementation
