DRV8328: External Components - recommended DC bias voltage

Hi team,

My customer is asking about Ccp and Cgvdd those value is recommended at below.

For Ccp, recommended PVDD-rated capacitor, PVDD is up to 65V, but the voltage between CPH and CPL seems not going to 65V.

Considering DC bias, which DC bias voltage should be considered?

For Cgvdd, this is same question, also let me know DC bias voltage for Cgvdd.

Hey NY,

We recommend choosing capacitors with twice the voltage rating to account for voltage spikes and dc de-rating. The recommended nominal value for C_CP is 470nF and a voltage rating of PVDD.

For C_GVDD we recommend a value >= 10uF with a rating of 25V.

The X5R/X7R thermal coefficient is recommended for these capacitors to reduce drift variation from temperature bias.

We recommend the effective capacitance to be +/-30% of the nominal value after accounting for all drifts/tolerances.
