No, 8316 series can only handle up to 70-80W of power. 100W power is too high and thermals will be too large for the integrated FETs. 

We recommend a gate driver with external MOSFETs, such as the DRV8328, DRV8329, or DRV8300 for higher power motors ~100W.

8316 family supports 8A peak. With gate driver architectures, you can push up to higher peak currents since current and thermals of the FET are external to the gate driver.

This is a "higher" junction temperature, the device would near the overtemperature shutdown temperature of 170C, so you probably would not want this in your system.

For the integrated FET calculator, you can select 1,2, or 3 oz copper for a 4-layer board (middle layers = 1 oz), or 1/2 oz copper for a 2-layer board.

Hi Jaemyeong,

At the moment, we do not currently have FOC integrated into our BLDC gate driver solutions. The only sinusoidal gate driver we have is DRV8308, which is an older part and is hard to support. 

The best recommendation I can make using an external microcontroller is to use a C2000 MCU with the DRV8320, DRV8320R, DRV8323, or DRV8323R. We have a few solutions you can use, see below.
