DRV8701: Question for DRV8701

Part Number: DRV8701

Hi Team,

Customer would like to know:

1. The output voltage of nfault pin is 4.7V, and the voltage of vref pin is more than 7V. Is it mormal?

2. The voltage of nfault and veref is normal, VM24V, EN is high level, PH changes level, H bridge does not make corresponding changes.

Thanks,

Annie

  • Annie,

    I am a little confused.

    1)  This is absolutely not normal.  Based on VREF voltage divider from 4.8V, how could VREF be >7V?  VREF is an input to our device.

    2)  Chip may be damaged if condition #1 is true.

AVDD and DVDD should be checked for normal voltage as those pins are internal regulators in our device.  If this voltage is not normal, something is damaged.

    Regards,

    Ryan
