DRV8705S-Q1EVM: DRV8705S

Part Number: DRV8705S-Q1EVM

We have some questions about diagnostics in OFF state with the DRV8705S.

In our application, we use the DRV8705S in HS/LS split configuration.

Since the component datasheet does not detail this paragraph and we have found yet the application notes, but it still not clear for us.

Our questions concerning OFFline diagnostic with the DRV8705S as follows:

1/-For the activation of the Pull-up and Pull-down current sources, should it always be necessary to activate a Pull up and a Pull-down current source of each half bridge?

2/-Possible to activate two pull-up current sources (H-bridge) or two pull down current sources for detecting short circuit to Battery /short circuit to Ground? or activate a single current source?

3/- If the four outputs of the VDS comparators return "1", does the driver return a fault flag?

4/-Is a flag returned by the driver only when at least there are two VDS outputs at "1"?

 Best Regards.
