DRV10983EVM: drv10983 upper computer software install

Hi team! This question is about software.

The customer use DRV10983EVM software(DRV109xx Software (Rev. A))+labview2015 to test DRV10983EVM. But after installing the software, it displays as below:

What problem can cause this? Can you give me some explanation about this situation? Thanks!

Hi Hale,

The DRV10xx GUI software is only compatible with LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2014. It looks like you have installed a higher version of the Run-Time Engine which is not compatible.

Please download the 2014 Run-Time Engine from the link below: https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/downloads/software-products/download.labview.html#306245

Note, the 2014 Run-Time Engine is compatible with Windows 10. Please uninstall the DRV10xx GUI Software, then install the 2014 Run-Time Engine, and finally, reinstall the DRV10xx GUI software.

Today the customer has tried as you told. But it seems no effect.

The customer has tried to download LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2014. But it still displayed this dialog. What mistake will cause this situation? Can you give some example?

Hi Hale,

I encourage you to try running the application as an administrator just to be sure there isn't any problems with accessing the lab view files.
