DRV8353RS-EVM: Issue with DRV8353RS GUI

Hi Team,

I am trying to identify the motor parameters using DRV8353 GUI.

My motor is a 48V 5.5kW PMSM and currently i am giving it a supply voltage of 32V.

The GUI during the identification stage identifies the motor parameters but during this time the motor does not spin.

Is this how the behavior should be?

Please let me know your views.

Is the System Enable toggled on? If so, do you notice any faults occurring?

Hi Alicia,

The system enable is toggled on.

The fault status indicator is always green.(This means no error)

Does the Motor Identification indicator turn green? Can you share a screen capture of the Motor Identification tab?
