BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM: SPI Interface

I plan to to use LAUNCHX;-F28069L and BOOSTX-DRV8305EVM to control three phase brushless DC Motor. I plan to use an encoder that has SPI pins, where should I connect the encoder?

My question is should I connect the encoder SPI pins to the motor driver or the microcontroller?

If it has to be connected to the MCU how would that work? since the driver is going to placed on top of the microcontroller.

The encoder SPI PINS are SCN-CLK-MOSI-MISO.

Thanks for your question. The connection point for the encoders will depend on what code you are using and what GPIOs are being used for the encoder inputs for the LaunchXL-F28069L. Identifying that information in the code you are using will help you determine how to connect the encoder inputs.
