Is the rising edge of nFAULT only a sure indication for a ClearFault or also for a wake up during the NSLEEP pulse?
The reason for the question is to minimize the time for the NSLEEP pulse, which is stated as 20µs to 40µs.

Hello!
I am not sure I understand the question. Are you referring to Treset in the datasheet? That is a max. pulse time of 20us to reset. But this time can be anywhere between 5us - 20us for the nFAULT to rise acknowledging a reset has occurred.
Once nFAULT rises and acknowledges, the nSLEEP pin can be taken back high.
