DRV8662: Can I use DRV8862 to control piezo motor?

I am designing a driver circuit for a piezo motor. But i haven't found much documentation on the design (maybe cause of piezo motor is new technology and haven't been used much)
As I know based on the manufacturer's documents, it seems that it is necessary to apply PWM based on the triangular pulse with frequency of 70 - 80 Khz, 60V peak (as shown below). But DRV8662 has maximum frequency is just 500 Hz.

Is the DRV8662 suitable to control piezo motors. Can you give me advice for a design solution?
The motor I use is: RBS030032HAC30

Hi Brg,

Yes, this device can drive piezo motors, but it's only designed for audio applications. 20kHz is a stretch for this device let alone 70-80kHz. At such a high frequency you'll need a motor with a higher current capacity.

Looking closer at the motor you're using, it seems that it's designed to be used with the electronic drivers listed at the bottom of the datasheet: https://www.servo2go.com/media/assets/catalog-library/pdfs/dti/RBS_Series_datasheet_V1_letter.pdf

I recommend you use that, as our catalog isn't equipped to handle what you're looking for.

Because of mechanical limitations, we are unable to use the available drivers listed in your file. But thanks for your advice.

I think i should design a driver with boost converter, op-amp... to generate required PWM signal.
