we are using the DRV8821 as part of a controller for a new product. we have most of the chip inputs and outputs covered but have a question about the ABVREF and CDVREF inputs. We have your EV board for this chip (although we are not using the Labview interface). On the EV board the two VREF inputs can be jumpered to the pots on the board. With our own board design can we take those two inputs, couple them together and connect to the wiper of a single 10K pot with one end of the pot to ground and the other end of the pot going to pin 16 on the chip (V3P3)? It looks like if we set the pot to put 1.5V on the VREF inputs and we use the 0.3 ohm resistors on the four sense inputs we should have a 1 A maximum on the motor outputs. We were hoping to power our driver only with the VM 24 VDC supply and not with any external logic supply. Any info will help.
