Hi Yale,

The DRV8312 can support a full H-bridge mode. To have the device act like a H-bridge, you would, as you stated, set one of the half-bridges to HI-Z by pulling one of the RESET pins low.

For the DRV8312-C2-KIT should be able to drive a single brushed motor but this will require software modifications. You will have change/create software to only use two of the PWM inputs and send the correct high and low sequence.
