Hi all,
I have question on the DRV2700, how do I calculate my Voltage output, if I set my Vboost at 75V and my Gain setting 40.7db. Then, how the Output voltage if I change the gain? how the gain will change the output voltage?
Thank you

Hi Muhammad. The gain setting is defined as X dB = 20log([pk-pk output]/[pk input]). You can confirm this with the statement at the bottom of page 11 in the datasheet: 28.8dB = 20log(50/1.8). With 40.7dB gain you would get 200Vpp with a 1.8pk input.

Hi Jeff. Thank you for your reply. It helps a lot. May I know what is the relationship between the Vboost and Vin and the Gain?
Hi Muhammad,
The boost voltage and the input voltage/gain do not have a direct relationship. See the block diagram below
Your PVDD voltage (voltage from the boost) needs to be sufficient to produce the output voltage as determined by the gain and input voltage, but that is the only relationship they have.
