DRV8301-Q1: Regarding DRV8301-Q1 Source Current

Part Number: DRV8301-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8350, DRV8353

Dear All,

We are making a motor control card using the DRV8301-Q1 driver. We are planning to use SUM110N06-3m9H Mosfet for high and low side.

Considering the gate driver max current as 1.7A and Qg 300nC of the MOSFET, the trise comes out to be 176ns.

My question is if we are directly connecting the gate output of the driver to the MOSFET gate without any series resistor for faster switching, will it cause any damage to the driver as the driver has a max source current of 1.7A?
The total Qg of the MOSFET is around 300nC.

Thanks in advance
