I have a question about MCT8316ZT. MCT8316Z has the function of generating power using a step down regulator. Is there a recommended circuit when not using this feature?
Unless otherwise recommended, I'm thinking to use following setting for output 3.3V. Can you please share recommended power rating for RBK?
・VSEL_BK：GND
・RBK: 22Ω/±5%/**W
・CBK: 22μF/10V
I think almost no current flows, so I don't think it's necessary to implement a resistor with such a large power rating.
Referring to formula 5 on the datasheet, it is necessary to satisfy PRBK > (VM-VBK) × IBK.
Considering the worst case according to the specifications, IBK will be 40mA.
Then, under the above conditions
Since PRBK > (24-3.3) x 0.04 = 0.828W, is it okay to use a resistor of about 1W?
