DRV10983-Q1: Debugging issues

Dears,

1. Can DRV10983Q1 set the PWM working range? Currently, we only see the minimum duty cycle setting. If it is less than 5%, it will output 5%, and if it is less than 1.5%, it will output 0; Is there a maximum duty cycle setting that outputs at the highest speed above 98% duty cycle?

2. Can PWM be set to correspond to the actual speed, such as my 30% duty cycle corresponding to 1000rpm?

4. What is the normal starting time for the motor? I have set the 1st and 2nd acceleration to the maximum and can reach the target speed within 8 seconds.

    Yes PWM duty input can go up to 100%. But, the output duty depends on the current limit set.

    2. Can PWM be set to correspond to the actual speed, such as my 30% duty cycle corresponding to 1000rpm?

    This is not a speed control mode. this is a voltage mode control. We need to adjust Duty corresponding to desired speed output

    Acceleration has to be adjusted based on the motor inertia. Higher acceleration during open loop may not spin the motor resulting into start up failure.
