We should make an A-sample. This should power two coils for two valves.
We already developed a small motor application for his customer with the DRV8305. We should also keep this driver and FETs to keep the adaptions as small as possibly. Parts of the Layout, the housing and parts of the software should be reused for this A-sample.
Is it possible to send the controller independent PWM signals for the phase 1 and 2 to have the desired current in the coils (controlled by SW), or are there any safety features in the driver silicone, that forbid this use of the driver? Should we also populate the third phase with MOSFETs or can we leave this outputs open?
