DRV10983EVM: When writing the motor configuration into EEPROM, it prompts that the voltage should be higher than 22V

Part Number: DRV10983EVM

Hi Team,

When the customer is using the DRV10983EVM GUI, they are preparing to write the configuration to the register through eeWrite, but the following prompt keeps popping up:

If the 22V voltage referred to here is Vcc at P1 on the EVM, then the customer can confirm that a voltage exceeding 22V has been given. May I ask how to overcome this difficulty and write the motor configuration into the register through eeWrite?

Best regards,

Annie Liu

  • Hi Annie,

Thanks for your post to the e2e motor drivers forum.

Many of our team members are currently out of office for US holiday timeframe - but will be back in office by 1st week of January.

Please anticipate a delayed response & feel free to provide additional information in the meantime.
    Best Regards,

  • Hi Annie Liu,

Let us check on J2 Pin 1-2 are shorted and Potentiometer (R14) is rotated fully towards 3.3V so that device doesn't go to sleep if configured for sleep.

And VCC apply 24V at P1.

    Thanks and Best Regards,
