What happens if one phase exceeds the overcurrent limit? Does it just limit the current for that phase? Does it disable that phase and trip a fault signal? What is the recovery process if that happens?

I believe the datasheet for the DRV8332 covers over current protection in the following section: 7.3.2.1.1 Overcurrent (OC) Protection
