# MCF8315C-Q1: Compare with MCF8316C-Q1

Dear, TI Support Team.

Is the difference between MCF8316C-Q1 and MCF8316C-Q1 only in the output peak current? If you have comparative materials, I would like to use them as promotional materials for customers.

MCF8315C-Q1 32Pin WQFN package and 24pin When will the HTSSOP product be released?

410h BUS_CURRENT Calculated DC Bus Current Register Regarding Section 6.8.5.3, there is a 32-bit value indicathing DC bus current iBus = (BUS_CURRENT / 2^27) * Base_Current / 8, but what is the definition of the calculation formula and what does Base_Current mean? I don't know if there are any. Is there any documentation on Base_Current?

MCF8315C is 4A peak and MCF8316C is 8A peak. I will get back to you by Friday for promotional material.

Base Current for MCF8315C is 6.25A and MCF8316C is 10A.

I understand that the only difference is MCF8315C is 4A peak and MCF8316C is 8A peak.
