DRV8305-Q1EVM: Unable to start the motor using DRV8305-Q1 EVM

Part Number: DRV8305-Q1EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8305-Q1, MOTORWARE, CCSTUDIO

We are using DRV8305-Q1 EVM to run a BLDC motor. I have used the following steps

1) J3 jumper is changed to USB and loaded the code using micro-USB and CCS. The code has been flashed.

2) Next the J3 is changed to LDO 3v3. The VBAT and GND is connected to a 10V PS. The motor terminals are connected to H14 A B C. The jumper J4 is selected to PVDD.

3) The MotorWare InstaSpin Set-up has been done from the instructions given in the SLVUAQ4A doc. ( We have followed the steps mentioned in pages 5-10 in this PDF. However, once we move to Page 11, the InstaSPin GUI shows following error :

NOTE : The CCS was freed from debug connection mode to allow the micro-USB communication to be interfaced with the GUI.
