MCT8329A: Firmware version

Dear TI  Expert Team,

I am currently working on a project using the MCT8329A, for this project I would need to be able to know the firmware version of the chips.
After some searching in the Technical Reference I could not find any mention of a firmware or any way to check it.
Could you plese let me know if there is any way to know the firmware running on a chip or if that isn't possible, is the firmware frozen or will it be updated/changed?

    Hi Simon,

    The Firmware on all of our MCX devices is frozen. When we release a new version of the firmware on our MCx devices we will normally release a new device and update the letter after 83xx. For example a new firmware version of the MCF8329A will become the MCT8329B.
