DRV8305-Q1EVM: will DRV8305 pull down SPI bus in sleep mode ？

I use drv8305 and drv8714 in my design，and connected two ICs use a SPI bus.

When I set drv8305 go sleep mode，I can not read DRV8714's register（SPI bus go abnormal）. but when I wake up DRV8305, the SPI bus can read normally.

Is there any method to isolate this two ICs？ such as use voltage level shift?

1. I want to know is there any condition that the SPI of DRV8305 will be poll down/up？It seems when DRV8305 go sleep，the SDO will poll down？

2. I want to know is there any condition that the SPI of DRV88714 will be poll down/up？

Hi Ling,

I think you are on the right track with your questioning. It may be that when DRV8305 is in sleep mode then that may be pull SDO down since in sleep mode VREG is powered down and that is what powers the SPI block, causing DRV8714 to not be able to use the same SDO line. Have you tried separating the SDO line?
