Hi,

Why the DRV8353RS IC footprint (Centre pad) is not matching with the DRV8353RS evaluation board.

DRV8353RS IC footprint from DRV8353RS evaluation board PCB layout design file.

Any specific reason for this?

Please clarify.

    Hi Shambhu,

    If you rotate the chip 180 degrees that will align the chip and the pin 1 with the footprint on the EVM. In the image you show "IC 1st PIN", but that is actually pointing to the second pin, not the first. The first pin is the one connected to GND.
