DRV8434SEVM: How to set 0 for the starting speed

Hello,

My customer has been working on the DRV8434S EVM and would like to configure the starting speed to '0', but they can't make it even below 40.  Would you please tell me how to configure it to '0'?  Would you please tell me the restrictions for that if there are?

    Hi Kawasaki-san,

    The minimum starting speed for the DRV8434SEVM is 40 PPS, this cannot be configured to zero. This is the limitation of the onboard MSP430 MCU and its firmware. No limitation on the driver device. However, when you awake the device and enable the driver the STEP input is 0 PPS.

    For speeds less than 40 PPS or higher than 65535 PPS you can feed external STEP input on the STEP pin of the single row header.
