DRV8305: VDRAIN fluctuating usage allowed/not allowed

Part Number: DRV8305

Tool/software:

Hello.
I would like to ask about the use of DRV8305.

I understand from the manual that the correct way to use the DRV8305 is to input PWM signals to the respective input pins (INHA, INLA, INHB, INLB, INHC, INLC) in 6-PWM mode as it should be.
However, we would like to use the method in which we varied by PWM, then rectified by using an inductor or capacitor as VDRAIN, and input each input pin to be 120° energized method (square wave drive method) by receiving Hall IC signals.
Is this practically possible?
Looking at the block diagram in the manual, VDRAIN and PVDD are connected in such a way that they have the same potential, but is this a requirement?

I look forward to your response.
