Dear TI team,

Using DRV10987 EVM board for Motor tuning. But facing the over current issue,

My motor parameters are

Phase to center tap resistance: 0.931 ohm

BEMF Constant: 412 mV/Hz

Please refer below attached images & let me know the corrections.

Can you enable other locks also.

Also, can you verify if BEMF constant is programmed properly?

Have you configured R, BEMF Kt as per the tuning guide? DRV10987 Tuning Guide

Hi Venkatadri,

I have tried using enabling other locks too.

R & BEMF values are configured as mentioned in the tuning guide, still getting same error

Hi Sonali,

1. Can you increase hand of threshold from 12Hz to 25?

2. Control coefficient to 1

3. Increase acceleration rate at close loop?

What is the reason for slow acceleration? Is this higher inertia motor? Do you have load connected and what is the expected load limit?
