gave a low pulse on sleep pin for 20-40usec still fault is low

1.Could you share your schematic?

2. Which variant you are testing? HW varinat( Not SPI)?

3. What is IN pin input voltage?

4. Can you capture VM, nSLEEP, VCP and nFUALT pins while nSLEEP 20-40us input? (e.g ~100us/div and ~1ms/div). Does VCP provide VM+~10V?

5. Any possibility your part is damaged? Did you see same issue with multiple units?

5. nSLEEP is pulledup with 10K(3.3V), VCP = 29V, nFAULT = LOW, when wee feed nSLEEP pin with 35usec low pulse

Thank you for your feed back. Looks like device wake up anyway.

Your DIAG is 0ohm, therefore Fault retry mode.

One possibility is OCP.

Can you try to capture waveform of

1)V_OUT, nFAULT, I_OUT, VM, VCP? Is I_OUT and OUT voltage keeps trying to operate every ~5ms (tRETRY) ?

2)If disconnect your load from OUT pin, nFAULT will be high?

3) How much capacitor on VM? If it is less than 20uF, I suggest to put more (e.g 22uF) as trial.

If 2) does not solve issue, I suggest to test another fresh part.

Hi,

I have reviewed schematic. Looks OK.

It is difficult to expect why OUTx will not be High... VCP=29V meant that DRV wake up successfully. With DRVOFF pin=0V and IN pin = high, OUTx should be high without load on OUTx pin.

I believe you supply on VDD_DRV =3.3V or 5V.

May be soldering issue, DRV damaged, something could be wrong.

How many unit are you testing and showing issue? Is fresh unit/PCB showing the same issue?

Need to test on another board

only problem was sleep pin is low, with out load connected

The nSLEEP pin we can not able to pull it low with controller gpio pin. can you please help in this
