GDF detection logic monitor GHx, GLx , these are gate drive outputs.

It is expected GHx, GLx changes the state by TDRIVE time.

In EC we can see GHx, GLx

I will need to verify if there is any window on the threshold and confirm.

Yes, I understand the GDF and I'd just like to confirm if thresh voltage of DRV8306 is also ~2V as the FAQ mentioned. I'm looking forward to your response.

Hi Morita San,

Since I don't have clarity on threshold and 2V threshold may not be a correct reference to consider.

Reason is that, the configuration for IDRIVE and TDRIVE are chosen for a given MOSFET such a way that VGx will change the state to the level mentioned in the table within TDRIVE.

Below snap from the data sheet

If customer has any issue we should ask for following data

1. IDRIVE setting and schematics (if there is any resistor in the gate)

2. VGS waveform , we will measure by how much time VGx is changing state to the expected level.

We can suggest proper setting from the observation.
