I will order DRV8316XEVM but there is no any options to select DRV8316T/R (Hardware or SPI variant). It is not visible DRV8316T version on the TI Order page. How can I order "Hardware variant" version ?

Hey Semih,

The EVM is populated and configured for the DRV8316R (SPI variant) device by default. You will need to populate it for the HW version if that is required/ and make minor adjustments for the HW version.

The steps are listed in the EVM user's Guide.

Thanks Akshay for your answer but actually I need t use DRV8316T chip on the board for Hardware variant. Is it possible to use DRV8316R chip as hardware variant ?

If it is not possible, Isn't board solder for replaceing with DRV8316T ?

Hey Semih,

You will need to get a DRV8316T chip and solder on the board and make the resistor configurations mentioned in the User's Guide to make the hardware version work on the board.
