Thank you for posting in this forum. 

DRV8711 regulate current based on formulae provided in datasheet. 8.2.2.2  Calculate Current Regulation:

By setting up correct value for TORQUE, ISGAIN, and Rsense, the full scale current can be adjusted for your application. 

Please see the example below as well:

 Please make sure the ISGAIN value is set correctly. as shown below.

0.01E  sense resistor is used, ISGAIN is set to 0(gain of 5) and TORQUE is set to 255(for trail) full scale current.

after setting these also the motor current is below 1A .

Thank you for patience. I have looked at the provided schematic. 

1- Would you please check that the  pins AISENP , BISENP  are connected to ground using 50mΩ resistors. as shown below:

2- Moreover, does 0.01E resistor mean 10 mΩ? Please replace it with a 100 mΩ resistor.

as we are using DRV8711 to drive one Brushed motor we used only channel A. so AISENP is connect to ground using 0.01E resistor, which is Rsense resistor.

i will change the value of this resistor to 100mΩ according to your suggestion and will update.

yes they  are connected to ground but using 10mΩ  resistor
