I have one question about DRV8329-Q1.

Customer wants to use FOC by DRV8329-Q1. Whether you can provide the accuracy requirements for current sampling resistors Rsense?

The operation conditions:

Iout: 30A,

Speed accuracy requirement: 1%

Hi Leo,

The speed accuracy of the motor is most directly dependent on the quality and accuracy of the FOC algorithm code itself. If the FOC algorithm is very precise and the code is good, the driver should perform at the necessary accuracy level.

To achieve the desired speed accuracy of 1% the customer should make sure the MCU oscillator is capable of achieving this accuracy.

For Rsense, I would suggest using ± 0.1% tolerance for the resistor for best performance.
