Steps to resolve the above error: "Error while installing vcp driver":

  1. If MOTORSTUDIO is already installed in the computer and the above error message is displayed, uninstall MOTORSTUDIO from the computer.

  2. Right click on the installation file to "Run as admin":

             

  3. Choose "Only for me" during next steps:

            

  4. Allow the installer to install any drivers needed in the subsequent steps by accepting terms and conditions.
  5. MOTORSTUDIO is now installed with the necessary VCP drivers.
