DRV8424: How to handle the M0 pin

Hello.


I'm looking to drive the DRV8424RGER in 1/256 step mode with the M0 pin set to 1 and the M1 pin set to Hi-Z.
When connecting the M1 pin to 1 using a 3.3V external power supply, do I need a resistor between the power supply and the M0 pin?
Also, is a resistor necessary when connecting DVDD?
I would appreciate any answers or insights.

Hi,

Thanks for the post.

See below specifications for M0 and M1 in the datasheet. It is not necessary to have a resistor when connecting to DVDD or external VCC as long as VIH is in compliance. Thank you.
