Hi,

I just started using DRV8825EVM...I have no idea how to write a code and how to interface a program written in CCS4 with DRV8825EVM , to control stepper motor....can u please help me?????

Shekhar,

The latest version from TI for code composer studio is version 5. You can download it at the link below:

I am not a code composer expert, but you will find tools online on how to take the code given with the DRV8825EVM (also available online in the product folder) and generate the code in CCS5.

Thanks for this information.

As i m new to DRV8825EVM, i wanted some example codes for getting exposure in tasks like speed, position control,acceleration,deceleration,homing; using msp430 ,but m not able to find such documents (except "SLVA488") . Please help me.

Shekhar,

I am glad you found the SLVA488 document. It is a very good document and has some sample code. That combined with purchasing a DRV8825EVM, which I assume you did, will help you understand the DRV8825 better.
